They’ll change in consistency So in the event that your product has expired, it might still be useful – it just won’t perform quite as well. A compound that normally destroys all scratches after 2 or 3 passes might be less effective. A wax that normally lasts on your paint for 6 months might only last 3 or 4. It’s more of a gradual decline in potency. They likely won’t go from working fine to completely useless overnight.
